Research
My research is centered on the fundamental and applied study of metal-halide perovskite materials for optoelectronic devices, particularly perovskite solar cells. A major objective of my work is to understand how crystallization behavior, local structural disorder, compositional heterogeneity, and interfacial properties influence the efficiency, reproducibility, and long-term stability of these materials. By focusing on these structure–property relationships, I aim to identify the key factors that limit device performance and to develop material and interface design strategies that overcome them.
To achieve these goals, I combine perovskite thin-film processing and device fabrication with advanced characterization techniques spanning structural, spectroscopic, and electronic analysis. My work involves methods such asX-ray diffraction (XRD) GIWAXS, X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS/UPS), optical spectroscopy, and photovoltaic device measurements to probe materials from the atomic and nanoscale level to full device operation.
Current research themes include interface engineering, defect passivation, local-structure analysis, and degradation mechanisms under illumination. Ultimately, my research seeks to bridge fundamental materials understanding with the development of more efficient, stable, and technologically relevant perovskite photovoltaic systems.
